Majora's Mask Kafei Quest

i got to the part where you hide with kafei for sakkon the thief to come to his hideout and i messed up the puzzle so i used the song of time and went back to day 1 and now i try to complete it again and now sakkon never comes to his hideout ?? so what do i do?

You need to do the whole sidequest again, not only the last part with the puzzle in the hideout.

Unfortunately, yes you will have to start from scratch again until you get to the 3 day. It's pretty tedious, but once you get the hang of it, it's not so bad.

Some recommendations before you do the Kafei-Anju SQ.

1. Get the Gilded Sword if you don't have it already and if you have the Great Fairy Sword the ignore #2
2. When fighting the Wolfos be Goron Link they're dead in one hit.
3. Bunny Hood just because Link moves faster.
4. If it's the switches that's making you lose or that last block room with Kafei try ZD's FAQs.

And don't forget you have to do the quest twice... To get both the postman hat and to deliver the letter personally to Kafei's mom. =)
