Majora's Mask How is Twinrova in MM

how is twinrova (i dont know thier names) in majoras mask when it is the same link is it posible that when zelda plays the ocarina at the end of Oot she revsrses the deaths of all the bosses and re imprisons all of the sages

for starters their names are koume and kokate i cant remember which is which. Majoras Mask takes place in a parellel universe so its like the opposite of hyrule. so some of the bad guys are good while some the good guys are bad.

They appear for the same reason that the Romani sisters are effectively just two versions of Malon.

MM is an 'alternate universe' where people are 'the same' but live out different lives as it were. The Kotake and Koume are the same and effectively are living out a 'good' life instead of a 'bad' one.

As Poe said above, MM takes place in a parallel universe (also stated in the MM game manual) and as such, things that happen in one world do not necessarily effect the other, or happen in the other. This includes what happens to people in one vs. the other, and how people act in one vs. the other.

Twinrova did indeed die in OoT, however their parallel counterpart in MM lives in another 'universe' or 'dimension'. A world that shares some similarities to Hyrule, but is in fact a different world entirely. The death of Twinrova in Hyrule thus has no effect on the Koume and Kotake of Termina, because the Koume and Kotake of Termina are separate beings from the Twinrova of OoT.

As separate beings, their personalities are different than the OoT Twinrova as well. This would explain the 'Evil' Koume and Kotake of OoT and the 'Good' Koume and Kotake of MM. Because they are actually different people, in different universes, they are different, even though they are also the same.

Yup, It's a parallel universe, although because of the time paradox, Twinrova did NOT die.
So there is a possibility that they are still alive.

As everyone said before me, Termina is a parallel universe to Hyrule.

And, no, Zelda didn't re-imprison the sages. Ganondorf is in chains, remember? I'm pretty sure the sages (or would-be sages) were missing Link as he left to search for Navi.

Only slightly on topic, but I found it incredibly hard NOT to shoot Kotake in MM during the mini game where you shoot targets that she carries.... ESPECIALLY after she had killed me a million times in her OoT form... lol
