Ganon Equals Ganondorf Debate

For a long time, people would either agree or disagree that: Ganondorf is a term for the Gerudo form and Ganon is for his Demon form, or that both Ganondorf in Ganon is interchangeable with each other.

Here to spark fire in this debate once again, what opinion do you have on these two terms?

So grab your Master Sword and Hylian Shield, cuz this debate will get messy. Personally, I believe in the former.

I mean that's kind of it really
Ganondorf=Gerudo
Ganon=pig demon

Wind Waker did add a bit of confusion though when king first introduces you to him as "Ganon" and it cuts to Ganondorf in the fire, but other than that, I don't think it's ever been interchangeable

That's... about it. I kinda think that it's more "Ganon can be used for all forms/ incarnations, Ganondorf for just Gerudo." So...

Depends if the driver is behind the wheel or not.

I would say that Ganon is interchangeable for both the human and monstrous forms.

As for Ganondorf it refers to whenever the mind is intact or not. Which is only really in human form.

Ganon is his pig form but maybe could also be used to shorten his human form name?
