This is a great RP idea that sparked in my head while playing FF XIII-2.
basically takes place during XIII-2 were serah, moogle and noel are still on their quest to find lightning and beat Caius Ballad.
this RP will feature the FF XIII-2 soundtrack

Paradigms: (paradigms are like battle classes, and there are 6 types.
1. Commando-has the best offensive attack and magic, with skills such as many strong physical attacks, and non-elemental magic like gravity.
2. Ravenger-a specialist of elemental attacks and magic, defeat your foes with strong magic such as fire or thunder. each magic has 3 tiers of power, 3 being the strongest. (ex. 1.fire 2.fira 3.firaga)
3. Sentinal-a strong, defensive set of skills. bolster your defensive with skills that render you indestructible.
4. medic-use your strength to bring back allies to good health, and cure them of any bad ailments.
5. synergist-use your powers to bolster the abilities of others or yourself. raise your allies powers to win the duel.
6. saboteur-defeating your enemy takes time and patience. use your powers to weaken your foes with poisoning or pain, or weaken their power to save your allies from any more harm.
..........you can have up to 3 paradigms, more paradigms may be unlocked to you through certain events for your character. I'll make a list of abilities prior to each paradigm later)

Commando: Blitz (attacks surrounding enemies with a wind slash) Ruin (non-elemental magic attack) Ruinga (non-elemental magic that causes a huge explosion to attack foes)
Ravenger: fire/fira/firaga (fire magic that can make explosions) thunder/thundara/thundaga (thunder magic that rains down on multiple foes) blizzard/blizzara/blizzaga (ice magic that causes small glaciers) aero/aerora/aeroga (wind magic that can sweep foes off their feet) flamestrike/sparkstrike/freezestrike/galestrike (elemental attacks with your weapon)
Sentinal: Steel guard (the more hits you take, the stronger your defence gets) medi guard (heal and block at the same time) element guard (elemental attacks do nothing, non-elemental attacks do x2 damage)
Medic: cure (heal small wounds) cura (heal bigger wounds) curaja (heal serious wounds) raise (bring someone back to full strength/revive) esuna (cure bad ailments such as poison or deprotect)
Saboteur: poison (...well...) wound (permanantly damage someone minorly) pain (cause severe pain when foe attacks) fog (blind the foe) deprotect (lower their resistance) deshell (lower their magic/element resistance)
Synergist: protect (raise defence) shell (raise magical defence) bravery/faith (boost physical/magic capabilities) vigilance (become temporarily immune to bad status like poison)
