Hyrule Warriors Fi Confirmed?

I got it from Famitsu. D: I'm sure there will be a bigger image soon enough. I wound out just zooming into the picture to observe it.

I also spy the ball and chain in that picture. Sounds extremely fun. I'm just imagining swinging it around at a horde of bokoblins, to be honest. Oh, but... my apologies, yay for Fi.

Fi should be pretty fun. I can't imagine I'll be playing her that much, but, we'll have to see. That Ball and Chain was the thing that most interested me in the pic.

Honestly, I think it's just the characters they have to choose from. Midna was a given for Twilight Princess. Agitha could have had competition with Ashei or Auru, or maybe the Postman. But either way, there wasn't that many to pick from. In my opinion, Ashei was the most battle ready, but I think they went with Agitha because of her uniqueness, and maybe a little of them not wanting only one member of The Resistance. Darbus was possible, but I feel they are saving the Goron spot for Darunia.

As for Skyward Sword, there's still only a limited number of choices. Fi has been confirmed. And I have to imagine the next Skyward Sword character will be either Groose or Batreaux. So, that also leads me to believe the next character will be male. I'm thinking Groose. And if they follow the pattern, we probably will also see a villain and boss from Skyward Sword. My money would be on Ghirahim and Koloktos.

I'm then going to say that Medli is my top prediction for Wind Waker. Then I'd say it's between Tetra, Daphnes and Orca. Darunia is my top one for Ocarina of Time. Then I have to say between Sheik, Saria, Ruto, Rauru and Nabooru. Dark Link, Twinrova or Phantom Ganon I think will make an appearance for Ocarina of Time. Dark Link might just make a general appearance though. We already saw King Dodongo from Ocarina of Time, though I wouldn't put it past them to have more than one boss from games so we can battle Bongo Bongo. Wind Waker, my guess would be Helmaroc King.


Now, this is assuming they do continue with this pattern and that they only show protagonists playable. Though I hope these villains such as Ganondorf and Zant (and hopefully Ghirahim), are shown playable too. Of course, in the end, I have to choose Skull Kid as playable for a general Zelda character or Majora's Mask inclusion too.

That would be sweet. I wouldn't be surprised if they have costumes based on what they wore in these four games, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword of course, and Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker. Maybe for Ocarina of Time, they can just get Link to attires, making his usual outfit Red and Blue though.



This article has more info. My suspicions were correct. Groose hasn't been revealed... yet, but apparently Ghirahim is a villain and The Imprisoned is in as opposed to my Koloktos idea. Doesn't mean they can't both be in though.

Maybe her moveset would involve coming out of the Master Sword as Link wields it... Think back to the footage of Midna teaming up with Wolf Link; Fi and Link would combine their powers to slash through the hordes of enemies. I could see the player attacking opponents through Fi's point of view (from the Master Sword) while controlling where Link swings the sword. It'd be extremely interesting to see an emotionless "robot" turned into an adroit warrior.

Exactly why he claimed they may not want Ashei. She's a part of the resistance, a large group, so they might not have wanted just one member of her group. Agitha isn't related to any group and is her own separate, unique character, so they wouldn't be leaving anyone out. He never said Agitha was a Resistance member.

Though I personally think it had more to do with the fact that Agitha is adorable and no one would have ever expected her to be a fighter...

This just in: Ghirahim and The Imprisoned will appear as enemies in Hyrule Warriors. For some reason, the person who gave us the image showing off Fi and the other things didn't show us what was on the NEXT page. So selfish...

Yeah, this is what I meant. Though I do have to agree with the last statement. I think a lot of it was a mixture of surprise and fanservice. But, I can see them not going with Ashei for that reason. That said, after they go through the games they want to go through, it's totally possible that they will reveal more characters from these games again. We could just be seeing the characters that tie in most to the main story for instance.

I mean yeah she was kinda annoying in subsquent playthroughs but Fi was one of the reasons I loved SS first-time through and I'm really happy to see her as a playable character. I'm also super-stoked to see SS Link and Zelda alternate outfits, as well as Ghirahim and Black Scaley Barne-I mean the Imprisoned. Also I haven't seen the news in the past couple days and I just saw that Agitha's also a playable character. Odd, but hey, give the more unique characters a shot, and anyways she also looks kinda cute.

I have to say Groose is very probable. If they are going for at least two characters from at least the 3D games, I have to imagine he is most likely to be next.


I'm just constantly tripping over myself and suffering from anxiety attacks while waiting for Skull Kid to be confirmed. I want him soooo bad! Give me Skull Kid or give me death!
