Skyward Sword Favorite Skyward Sword Character?

Seriously though, Fi is the best. I spent 3 hours staring at the screen not knowing what to do at the very beginning struggling to make Link move. Fi conveniently popped up and told me there's a 96% chance that if I move the right analog stick forward my character would move forward. After much research and many failed attempts I managed to take my first steps and within a matter of weeks with Fi's wisdom and guidance I finally made it out of the Link's house. Months later, I haven't made much more progress but Fi's 96% certain that I have to go to some academy and 100% certain that I shouldn't be playing video games.

In other news, it was recently discovered that a relatively new member to the DGN forums, who goes by the name of "The HOT", thinks it's cute to overexaggerate a character's annoying trait with an over-the-top level comparable to DBZ, whilst also ignoring said characters positive features.

No, seriously, Fi brought back the one thing I'd been craving from a helper character in Zelda for nearly a decade: enemy scans. Not only did she bring them back, but she made them far more in-depth than ever, going so far as to tell you how many you've faced and offer analysis on how well you've handled them -- not to mention she had really cool optional info on surrounding environments. She may have stated the obvious quite often (and been annoying as **** with her beeping), but she's not worthless.

Whoa whoa who I don't think anyone here called her worthless I was just pointing out that the little bit of progress I made was entirely due to her insane advice and not common sense. Praise the sun that she has the ability to relay this vital information to me about how tough my enemies are after hundreds upon hundreds of deaths in this exceedingly challenging game.

I'd say you've proven my point, but I don't quite think that'd be accurate.

I didn't even check the date, lol. I just saw his post count. XD

He might as well be new here, though. He wasn't really active until the last week or so. ¯\(°_o)/¯

Edit: Actually, that can work with the word "relatively". Looks like I was accidentally technically correct. ¯\(°_o)/¯

Fi was helpful, and I would've kept all of her clues in the game. Its just the way she goes about helping the player is intrusive. The majority of the time, instead of pausing the game, Fi's icon should simply light up with a polite little sound. Then, she would've been no problem.

I like the Item Check Girl. I don't remember her actual name and I don't know if she counts as a 'character' but I found her funny

I have to say though, Link is my favourite in this game. I know that sounds super obvious but he has real personality in this one.

That being said, I think the legend that is Groose tops everyone
