What is Zelda exactly without music? Music is the true embodiment of the game itself. The first game started with music, and ended with music. Beautiful, orchestrated pieces. Music has grown more and more fond with us, with full on orchestral pieces made and recorded with the most recent incarnation of the series. The series was born with music, and if it dies, it will die with the most glorious music of all. So yes, music is necessary. Music is great in all games, but it truly hits home with Zelda.
