Darksiders Creator Wants to Do a Legend of Zelda Comic Book

This is far from official, and there is no mention of Nintendo giving him the license to do it, but Joe Madureira (Uncanny X-Men, Avenging Spider-Man, Ultimates, Battle Chasers) wants to do a Legend of Zelda comic book series.

I've got to say his style is a hybrid between Japanese and US asthetics, and he's always been passionate about video games. This might actually work.
