Skyward Sword Carrying the Pumpkins

Is there a trick to carrying the pumpkins. I move ever so slowly and they tilt and fall. I can stand still and they fall. Help!

I had the same problem. You're probably going too slow. It should be like a fast-ish walk pace. Make sure you keep moving. If you stand still they will fall.

Also if the pumpkins tilt one way you can tilt your Wiimote ever so slightly the other way to keep them balanced in the middle.
Good luck, I HATED this side quest myself :S

This side quest isn't so much hard, rather annoying. As Kupsacker said above, you can't walk too slow or too fast. When they tilt to the right quickly move left; when they tilt to the left, quickly move right. But do so in a way that you still progress toward the pumpkin shed. It takes a little practice, but you should get the hang of it.

Maybe it's moving and not tilting the mote like said above. Honestly I haven't done it in a while so listen to them not me

Move them a bit to the side you have to go to(front left)... and then run, they won't fall that fast that way

When you get to the ledge where the Pumpkin Landing building sits on, you can walk next to it and follow it with your pumpkins pushed up against it. They won't fall that way.

using the wiimote to balance has nothing to do with it. if they tilt right then move slowly right then move far left toward the shed. go forward when they are about aligned.

I've only just got the technique to do this myself, I've done 7 playthroughs since I got the game and only completed this mini game on the last two.

For me it really is about walking really slowly, hardly pushing the control stick at all. If the pumpkins start to wobble then I subtly move Link the way that they wobble until they realign. Funny thing is when that gong sounds at the end it startles me because I'm so deep in concentration.

Watch to see which direction the wind is blowing. Don't move too quickly to the side to steady the pumpkins, or they'll fall anyway. Walk very slowly, lightly pushing on the control stick, and don't panic if the pumpkins start to lean. Just move slightly to that side and keep going toward the shed.

Gotta agree there took me 8 tries to settle into the routine.

Just walk on and when the pumpkins are aiming to the right side move your nuchuk to the right and wait a short while till everything is straight up. You don;t necessarily have to walk slow but don't run either. Just keep an eye on the pumpkins which way they are moving and as soon as they move you move your nuchuk the same direction
