Breath of the Wild BOTW Dilemma

Okay, so getting right to it, (can't think of a way to start this) I can't decide if I should get Cemu and play Breath of the Wild on it, or wait and play it on the Switch. At first I was only gonna play it on the Switch (more on that in a sec) but the longer I waited the more I wanted to play it, and I've still got 3 months before I'm able to get a Switch. But now, I'm debating on if I should go ahead and get Cemu and the rom. The reason I wanted to wait is because I wouldn't get the full experience with an Xbox controller (no Joy Cons), no Amiibo support, and once I got the Switch I'd have to start over. So yeah here's my little dilemma. It'd be really nice to get some advice on this so...yeah. Thanks!

Emulating usually isn't the most practical decision in the first place. If people wanna like do it, I mean, ok, fine, but I'd still recommend experiencing it in its intended form first. Pimpweasel said he would eventually get the Switch version regardless, so the aspect of "pirating" in this scenario is kind of in a grey area, but yeh. Technically, it is, but it's not as "bad" if you have paid for the game previously on another platform.

But he hasn't. He's asking what we think about the idea of him pirating the game in lieu of purchasing a Switch.

I play it on Cemu and it's great. I haven't had one problem with it and I've even hacked it to bits..
It's locked at 60fps, better shaders, and I play with a DS4 controller! It's pretty awesome.

'...hacked to bits...' lol I'm funny.

If you want to play the game and test drive it, because lets face it BOTW lived up to 0 expectations, i'd say go emulate it. Nothing wrong with it. But you do need a beefy machine to handle it. Otherwise it's just gonna be a mess.
