Really? Too soon. How can EA and DICE be finished already? My thoughts are "Slow down people!" Take some time to make a good shooter game!

This is just another ploy by EA to make more money. Battlefield 3 got such a great reception, and people were practically begging for BF4. So why not give them what they want, when they want it? <--- that's the mentality that EA has. And, knowing Electronic Arts, they care for nothing but money (as evidenced by Madden going downhill, as well as pretty much every sports game ever, and the Online Passes...and Origin platform).

Battlefield 4's existence is all but justified, but a beta existing right here and now? I'm not so sure.

It's like all the companies want money now. Ubisoft, Activision and EA. I'm not going to count Call of Duty because people who made the games weren't even experienced (Expect for Treyarch and the people of CoD 4 and MW2)

Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with wanting money. A company's goal after all is to make money by whatever means necessary. However, with the way that recent companies are doing it, it seems like they don't give two snots about the customers. Back in the golden ages (Arcade up through early GC days), developers and so on made it a part of their motto almost to give the customer what it was they desired: a great time. Nowadays? Money money money, most companies should just change their name to 'Mr.Krabs'. >_>

EA is the worst offender, and I'll try to cite good examples:

Madden
Online Pass (LOL, I have to pay for Xbox Live, the base game AND unlocking online multiplayer [which I ALREADY DO BY PAYING FOR XBL]?)
Battlefield 4 (*possible*, it may turn out to be a BF3 in that it is a quality product)
Battlefield Play4Free, no, ALL Play4Free Funds (the games are structured so that you either get a perma-weapon by logging in insane amounts of game time, or you spend anywhere from $2 to $50USD)

They're taking this too far, They try to make more money, Who knows? One of the companies might be bankrupt just cause they can't put decent times into their games. I seen each Call of Duty games come out every year and it starts to become stupider and more stupider.

It's always been about money... Even the arcade days, do you have any idea how difficult arcade games are? They're designed so that you constantly fail and keep feeding the machine with quarters. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the arcade game is proof of that. Even during the NES days, video games were way overpriced. Sometimes you'd get lucky and actually buy a good product, but the majority of what was out there were just cheap ways for companies to cash in on popular licenses. How many people watched Home Alone and really said "can't wait to play the game"?... Yeah, no one.

This coming from the guy who buys Call of Duty every year? At least EA makes quality products.
