I'm not sure whether it's more unbelievable that you could so grossly misinterpret what he's saying or that you probably personally believe something so baseless and horrible.

Eith:)er way, I don't think even the least "politically correct" people on this site would be willing to buy into this sort of hateful garbage, so please don't bother.

health risks you might have based on your genetic makeup.

I don't know what's with the 'tude, Mister Man, but biology has nothing to do with politics or whether they're 'correct' or not. Why you mad at me for what he said? Tell me, what do you think he meant by that.

I think he meant "health risks based on your genetic makeup" in general, rather than specifically in reference to racial or ethnic makeup. Even if he did mean that, it's well known that certain racial groups tend to be more at risk for certain disorders, which is almost certainly what he would've meant rather than race mixing being unhealthy, an absurd proposition for which there's no evidence. The fact that you still aren't even willing to actually state your own opinion but instead feel the need to project it onto others and then play dumb only makes you look like even more of a coward. I guess it's also possible that you really did just misinterpret his post that bizarrely, in which case that'd still be an obvious example of projection.

He meant that different ethnicities have different health risks. That doesn't mean being mixed means you have more health risks because different ethnicities also have different health benefits that might counteract each other.

How come you don't respond to any of the other replies questioning your nonsense? Have nothing constructive or evidenced to say to defend your 4chan politics?

I did indeed mean that one's national/racial background, generic makeup, and yes, even cultural background (epigenetically) can influence the sorts of health conditions and predispositions for which one might be at risk. I can say that inbreeding increases homozygosity (just learned that word!) upping the odds of recessive genes proliferating, often with undesirable (as in, harmful to the well-being of the offspring) results. Credit where credit is due, though, there is a voice in the conversation saying that interracial coupling can also have undesireable effects on the offspring. It seems that this conclusion hinges on a scholarly paper from '03. Cursory reading of the study suggests to me that cultural climate and parenting techniques are likely the driving forces behind the discrepancy between single race and multi race children, not progenitory genetics (but possibly epigenetics?). Anyway, here's the study.

I'm not going to throw any kind of a hat in the ring here but I did find this interesting and worth talking about.
