24 mods is way too much, maybe one for every continent or something (i.e. one or 2 for the Americas, 2 for Europe, one in Asia/Australia, etc). Also asking to be a mod is the best way to ensure you never become one. Piss off.

Allow us to ignore ANY user. Sometimes a staff member is spewing garbage and I'd rather not have to see that in the SB.
