Pokemon you caught yourself won't have obedience issues in any game, so that's most likely why. In sword and shield since the wild area had varying levels, you weren't allowed to catch pokemon of a high level until you had the corresponding gym badge. In scarlet and violet it's been changed so...
Head to mesagoza first- if you've already done that then you can pick whether to go east or west first
West first is a bit easier but east first has more things to do immediately. So if you're feeling lost I would say head west out of mesagoza for a bit and do some stuff over there, then...
it's insane how easily modders were able to optimize the game for 60fps and quick loading... it's clearly doable they just need to actually put in the time
I'll allow another dlc pass if it's as good as sword and shield's was, cause that way you can justify it as being the "third version" from...
The item in question is just a popular cosmetic choice, that's why it's a reward
We are getting dlc though, and when pokemon home is connected more pokemon might be able to come into the game
It's funny how I didn't get any crashes until people talked about the game constantly crashing then I get two in the same evening rip
Game officially runs worse than Skyrim, just barely
There are plenty of good things to say about the game tho that I never thought I would say about an open...
It's a bit antithetical to what they've wanted pokemon to be from the beginning. Version exclusive Pokemon incentivises trading and I don't think they necessarily want fans to be buying both copies of the game
I wouldn't say a lot better but it looks like their process with sword and shield as the first switch game got really refined from the game to the dlc to this game now

I'm definitely getting scarlet thanks to this. I can't handle the legendary snake boi actually having wheels lol. At least the lizard boi has legs and runs
It looks like a ton of care and detail went into this game so I'm curious if something internal changed or...
for me pokemon replayability depends on the story more than pathing
like emerald is the most linear game in the series but it's the only one I'll replay just because the pacing's so good
if the open world means you can REALLY build wildly different teams right from the start then I'm listening...
they're finally returning to the roots of pokemon- everyone knows that in RBY, the first game in the series, you could pretty much go anywhere and beat the eight dungeons gyms in any order
YO ITS MULTIPLAYER
Up to 4 players can adventure in the same world together that's so sick
There must be some kind of limitation to it I don't see that being feasible the whole way through
Friend shaped box legendaries was an interesting decision. I just wish the violet legend wasn't all...
here's why I think the starters don't look like mons to me
sprigatito- the eyes make the grass motif hard to spot and it doesn't really occur elsewhere; the face layout and fur details are too generically cat for a grass type as well. To fix, emphasize the leaf collar and trim the facial hair...
what, you mean visually? A lot of the textures in SS/arceus/and this seem to be reused yeah
but if you mean gameplay all pokemon games tend to be identical except arceus game
basically it made stall unviable and shortened games to about 10-15 turns
it did make a couple of pokemon a bit overtuned because it temporarily removed their weaknesses (namely gyarados and togekiss)
but smogon could just as easily have banned the individual outliers
lemme find the post
fwiw I think most pokemon fans actually do like dynamax to some extent
I don't know how it measures up against mega evolution, but the enfranchised community definitely prefers megas...
"most people" buy the games regardless
as long as tpci owns the franchise, they only exist as advertisements for the merch. You know this, we all know this, why are you trying to pretend it's not the state of things?
oh I didn't realize that was all dynamax did! I could have sworn they had...
it probably should have, yeah. I'm assuming it's all about how they're choosing to allocate resources. As they spend time making new models for the exact same software they can slowly start allocating it towards other things like new animations and particles, and maybe they spent most of that...
1. Regardless of who your favorite pokemon is, name a pokemon game where you can bring your pokemon up from previous gens before beating the Elite 4. For the purpose of the main game, it's no different. ALSO, this was a thing on 3DS too, before pokemon bank was updated to allow for the new...
get with the times grandpa?
if you have to choose between being able to move your level 100 blaziken up from emerald or having seviper look that clean, you REALLY choose the level 100 blaziken? Are you actually somehow still surprised that this is a thing? Come on
