Caleb and I finished watching Inuyasha the other day. Last night we started Inuyasha: The Final Act. Wow, it gets really intense really fast! I can't wait to watch the next ones :)
I love that about anime. There is really something for everyone. And even if I don't care for the story line or genre of a show, I might still watch it just to see the incredible animation.
I used to hate anime when I was quite a bit younger. I watched DBZ and Gundam Wing on Cartoon Network and I thought they were the dumbest shows ever. It took a friend to have me watch Spirited Away with her to actually see that anime actually had a storyline and was intriguing.
I recently watched an anime movie called Origin: Spirits of the Past. It was pretty intriguing. I had to re watch the beginning to understand what was happening, though!
Inuyasha gets pretty good. Sometimes it drags, but I enjoy it. I watch it in Japanese with subtitles. There's a big like 30 episode major storyline towards the end of the series that gets really fascinating.
My favorite anime is Inuyasha. I've seen several series since finishing Inuyasha, but it's still my favorite. I also love Hayao Miyazaki's films! My favorites are Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle.
