This is real. I'd find myself bored, wondering what to do next, then remember that I was going to do *thing* next but first I needed to do *other thing* and then did *3rd unrelated thing* on the way.
I've decided that I've got other games I wanna play, and while there's still stuff I fully intend to do in TotK, next time I play I'll be prepping for and then going after the final boss so that I can put TotK on the backburner and go after some other games.
Yeah, it was that one. Is there more than one??
I have not, but I have found the NPC that tells you where to find them, as well as remembering a general idea of where some were. Will keep that in mind.
Questioning how much more I wanna do. I wanted to get all the sky islands and lightroots knocked out before going after the final boss, but doing that uses up stuff, mainly weapons, and to restock stuff I'd have to scour the overworld a lot because I didn't think to mark many places to find good...
There was a sky island that I spent a good bit trying to get to, I could tell it was a boss one so I assumed it was a Flux Construct. When I got onto it I realized that it wasn't a Flux Construct, it was a King Gleeok. Managed to take him out eventually tho, the last phase was all that really...
Turned right around from the desert to the after this I plan to explore the desert, then the sky islands. I also intend to knock out a lot of the side adventures, then I may consider wrapping things up.
Post-reigonal phenomena quest spoilers:
Did the lightning temple, fantastic dungeon, possibly my favorite in the game (so far). That was also my last regional phenomena, so I went ahead and did the main quest portion after that and woah. That's all I'm gonna say because spoilers but woah.
Got the Fire Temple done, and man. I got that sense walking into it whenever I walk into a dungeon like "Oh man, this place is really big and complex and idk if I can figure it out," but I know that I'm going to and it's going to be so satisfying, I haven't really had that in BotW or TotK yet...
I'm working towards Gerudo Desert, but I'm doing the same thing I've been doing in this game and in BotW, I see something that looks interesting, do a sidequest, go to grab something I need, do other stuff while I'm getting said thing, I take several hours just getting around to my goal. I did...
Took care of the monsters on Eventide, dropped below to pick up a Very Important piece of armor, then spent like 2 hours going over Hyrule Castle for the
Raided the castle, gave myself some decent bows for once, then I went to get the Master Sword.
Not really sure what I'm gonna do next. I've been on a roll of knocking out stable quests, so I might do a few more of those. The only 2 I have left are in the direction of Gerudo Desert so I can...
Knocking out stable quests still, I don't know how close I am but after the last one I did, I got the 2nd so I imagine I'm about 2/3 of the way there. Also I was trying to get into the castle and fell into the chasm under it, didn't really find anything interesting.
Well, my current objective is to knock out a few more of the and then do a lot in the sky islands, but I just spent a couple of hours in the depths, ended up under Gerudo Desert for the
Running around the Great Plateau trying to find the Shrine of Resurrection because I heard there's something cool there. I did find the so it hasn't been a total waste of time.
After much dilliying and dallying, and going off on random tangents, I am finally working on the Zora main questline. My 2nd regional phenomena. Over 40 hours in.
So last night, I investigated a my 3rd one), and I'm pretty sure it's the last one you're supposed to find :fpalm:
I've been doing a LOT in the underground/deep dark/depths, it's a lot of fun down there. Highly reccomend. Haven't done as much in the sky tho, partially because exploring them...
