Coming back to this thought again. This is pretty much the last thing left that gives me pause about the game. Whether it's done through save data bonus or not, I really need this game to reflect everything that Link did in BotW. NPCs that existed in BotW should not act like it's the first time...
Less of a guess and more of a wish... I want them to keep the option to swap the functions of X and B. I need to keep jump on B. I refused to play BotW with the default controls of jump on X. The B button is for jumping. This is a standard truth for all video games as a whole that must not be...
I think that weapon movesets will change if we fuse different weapons types together. So far we've only seen fuse with 1 weapon type and 1 object, and 2 of the same weapon type. 2 of the same spear changed the range significantly but it didn't change the moveset. However, as of trailer 3, we see...
I mean, Fi is already in botw and not as a vague reference. She's the voice of the sword that Zelda hears. There is no other sword spirit associated with the master sword and they even use the same sound effect from ss when she calls out to Zelda (and again to Link at the end of the Master...
You'll get to dye your hair pink "by accident" when using the Kochi Dye Shop. After a couple dyes your hair will "accidentally" come out pink and the guy will be like oh whoops do you want to keep that and you will be given a choice whether or not to change it back. That would be a cute callback...
I dunno why that would have to be DLC. We'll definitely be fixing the Master Sword in TotK anyway. No reason why Fi's recovery/reawakening can't already be a part of that process.
Some of these next guesses are actually based on something and some are not.
So we know its all but confirmed that the runes of botw have evolved and will now be done through the robot arm in new ways, right? We've been seen the time reversal of objects, we just saw a new magnesis ability in...
Day 1 expansion pass bundle for $80 just like BotW.
Free Xenoblade Chronicles 3 quest for cosmetic armor of Noah. (Did Monolith Soft help again? I think they are?)
I always forget Wii U exists, oof.
I guess in the case of no transferable save data you would just get a TotK that bare minimum assumes completion of the divine beasts and memories for the true ending or something idk.
This is less of a "wild guess" and more of a "wild what-if"...
What if TotK had a BotW save data bonus... that transferred over all of your complete quests and such, which is then reflected in TotK's world? Meaning anything you did (or didn't do) in your BotW file will affect your TotK file...
Replaying BotW reminded me that Purah was working on fixing her anti-aging screw up but couldn't do it because the guidance stone stopped working pre-botw. Well, now that Link has come along and fixed it, I bet she'll have gone through with that and appear in TotK as she did in AoC.
They're gonna reuse assets from AoC for reconstructed towns.
The UFO bird is gonna work like a flying mount and we can call it like we could the Master Cycle.
Link is going to be even more weakened than he was at the start of BotW and there will be some harsh gameplay limitations on what he...
