    The Box Art...

I also initially questioned where the source for the "regular" europeian box art came from (the one using more or less the same art as the bundle/american version), but the details makes it likely that it's valid. 1. The picture is more zoomed out, so some details on the edges not shown on...

I'll link to the exact model I was talking about: http://www.zeldadungeon.net/gallery/displayimage.php?album=31&pid=1091#top_display_media This model was developed into the sword from TP, but many of the finer details added in the TP sword was removed in the sword shown at the SS box art...

    The Box Art...

I was talking about the master sword from the OoT concept art, not the one in the actual game. Ah, well, it seems like I was using the picture in the quoted post as reference for the TP sword. That's wrong, since it actually turns out that the pictured sword I was using as reference is the...

    The Box Art...

As of how it looks, it seems like it has been modelled after the Master Sword from the original Ocarina of Time. It's almost propotionally correct when compared (the Skyward Sword version having a shorter blade), and very many of the finer details matches.

Anyways, perhaps they're going with the same packaging scheeme as with SMG2 (Europeian/Japanese release), with the picture shown being the cover of the cardboard box while the actual game-case within has the American-style cover-art with the symbol intact. The reason I have for this is that I...

I know it is illegal to sell anything containing anything resembling a swastika in Germany, but what we see of that symbol doesn't look like a swastika. Anybody know of any other symbol which is banned in certain Europeian countries? Or perhaps it's just too much of a spoiler to show the...

    The Box Art...

That may well be. I read that it started just after Phantom Hourglass was done, and I calculated out from the date of release. It's obviously clear that a game is usually "done" quite some time before it arrives in stores. Still, the development time doesn't nessecarely make a game good or...

They didn't confirm anything before some time into 2008, but it's estimated that the initial planning and idea phase started in late 2007.

On the topic of "rushing", some investigation shows that Wind Waker only was in development for a little more than 2 years. Compared to other Zelda titles: Twilight Princess was in developement for a little more than 3 years (with signifficant issues at one point during the development...
