Well, I'm struggling because I only have 7 hearts unaffected by gloom and no more sundelions to cook and I'm not able to teleport out before the final fight
Don't get me wrong, I've replayed BOTW 4 or 5 times and enjoyed it each time, but there wasn't the sky and all of the depths and caves to work through as well. I just find it a bit tedious now constantly throwing/firing brightblooms or breaking wall after wall after wall after wall after wall...
I personally feel it's a great game, and whilst still on my first play through, I already know I probably won't play it again for a few years. It will all seem like a massive chore. It's probably just me, but it feels like there's now too much to do, in return for not a lot.
A quick question without any spoilers please, I've just finished the four area phenomena's and have been told to go back to Hyrule castle to look for Zelda - is that the final part of the game? I still have more to discover so don't want to do it if it's the ending
I've done all the shrines on the surface, 22 of the ones in the sky (struggling to work out how to reach the rest!) and have just started again on exploring the Depths before heading to Gerudo town and doing my last area phenomena.
For me TotK is a really good game first time round, however, I think it'll be a very long time before I'd want to go back to it to play again as there's so much it'll feel a bit of a chore to do all over again.
I've got two more towers to activate, a lot of the depths to explore and side quests to do. Completed the Rito and Zora temples - does anyone else find them really easy?
I've been finding shrines in every area of the map so I can fast travel at a later point to then open the towers - think I've done 60 shrines so far so plenty to go. Also completed the Geoglyphs quest.
Playing through ALTTP again and have just entered the Palace of Darkness. For some reason, I thought the tower for the third pendant in the Light World was a lot bigger/trickier than what it is.
Putting off doing the Yiga Clan hideout part. Hate it. Done a lot of shrines I didn’t bother with/find first time I played the game - got 17 left to do.
Spent a few hours going from Hateno Tower down to the beach, then following the beach all the way round to Lurelin Village. Picked up so many gems, treasure chests, ancient parts etc. that I missed first time around. Quite enjoying using spear type weapons at the moment!

If they were to add proper dungeons, more weapons like the hookshot or even the Beetle, more villages to explore. Also, a past and present world would added to that would make this my dream Zelda game if done correctly!

On seeing the latest trailer it looks as if...
I’d have to say ALTTP. I love the top down view, the music, dungeons and special items needed to complete them and to progress around the map.
My Dad introduced me to the series with this game and it was the first Zelda game I played.
Big shoutout to LA as well - the first Zelda game I...
I started off using motion controls but the constant need to re-calibrate the joy cons got really annoying.
Found the button controls easier once I got the hang of holding the button camera down most of the time. Don’t know if it’s just me but it felt like using the stick for the sword was...
I defeated Ganon on my first play through back in January but didn’t complete all the shrines, get all armours, masks or Korok seeds.
Just picked it up again as I love the game and want to take it at a slower pace, build up my supplies and rupees and try and 100% it. Just got the paraglider and...
