Not enough people know about or played Breath of Fire IV, but I'll often come back to this track and reflect on what was a very enjoyable JRPG on the PS1.
Cleared the 2nd Palace in LoZ: AoL yesterday, nabbed the hammer and another Heart Container/Magic Jar so feeling far better equipped to face the stuff going forward.
I can completely get behind this. I'd like an 'authentic' LA experience. I'd prefer 'additions' rather than outright changes. Suitable extras over tweaks for tweak's sake.
I have this same issue with Milky Way Crispy Rolls, which I don't think actually exist for sale any more. It's a good thing though, because even thinking about them makes my stomach churn.
Hyrule Warriors currently. Been on a binge of it lately to get a bit more of a Zelda fix having completed BotW again recently.
It's a different kind of Zelda fix obviously, but it's scratching the itch somewhat!
Also occasionally dive back in to Celeste for a few levels.
I find it interesting that OoT is suggestedsug an introduction to the series, yet of the people I have suggested this as their first one and who have given it a go, they've not stuck with it or found it particularly engaging.
Obviously they're mad and wrong, but it's interesting nonetheless...
Would you have a preference of these though? If you had a friend or acquaintance who was wanting to be introduced, which one of those would you go for? Or would you maybe show them a snippet of each of those 3 and see what they decide on? This of course assumes they have access to any and all of...
Having recently introduced someone to the series with Mimish Cap, I had actually spent a fair amount of time considering which of the games would make for the best 'introduction' to the series.
MC isn't my absolute favourite, nor the one I consider the outright best (though I do hold it in...
I'm sure I've tried that before - very nice indeed!
I also love some of their truffles. They do/did an Eton Mess truffle that was a little bit special!
I really enjoy Galaxy chocolate. Have done for as long as I can remember.
I'm also pretty keen on just some random brand fancier stuff - like a nice high % luxury bar from somewhere like Hotel Chocolat (70% usually, though I'm also happy with something a bit lower with a higher milk content).
Chrono Trigger's PS1 port included some animated cutscenes not present in the original SNES version - these were then included in the DS version (with an option to turn them off at the beginning of the game). There weren't loads of them and I wouldn't necessarily say they added a particularly...
Would you want this/some/all bosses to undergo a MM3D-esque change where the bosses all function quite differently to the N64 version?
Or just not have this guy be pointless as a boss? :P
I don't know about you all, but if I am replaying a Zelda game I will typically have a section(s) I am particularly looking forward to revisit, or an experience I'm excited to have again - even an item I want to use again because of how fun it was and how much of that game it opens up.
I think...
This. LA was my very first Zelda experience and even though that was over 20 years ago, I remember that introduction thoroughly and I was immediately shouting "FINALLY!"
I'm currently playing through Hyrule Warriors Deluxe Edition's Adventure Mode Maps. Working on getting as close to 100% as I can be bothered to manage - it's very repetitive, but I'm honestly enjoying myself a lot. I'm an especially big fan of how the alternative costumes are all references to...
I'd love to see a Master Quest mode. Going back through Ocarina of Time, but on the MQ mode really added a freshness to that replay. I liked that the puzzles were that little bit more challenging too and would love to see that across the series in general - I don't mind the combat not being made...
