Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

I'm glad there are other people that like this game... I'm a little miffed right now because I made some DAMNG good progress on my 3DS download but progress saved does not seemed to have transferred to my NEW 3DS so it looks like I will be starting this game again for the tenth time...

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

I love this game, but I am starting to wonder if I might be the only one. I still remember buying the gold cartridge in 1988 and being so excite to open it. It took a little getting used to but the game really grew on me. I felt at the time (with the side scrolling gameplay) that it was kind of...

Zelda Characters You Think Are Attractive

Midna And I like her Imp form too, she is TAh sexy!! I also like Malon and Hena. I tend to like the dark and red hair because I'm blonde, my sisters are blonde, my mom is blonde, etc...sO I tend to be attracted to anything BUT blonde. mmm mmm I love that Midna though, I don't abide sass and...

    Trying to get into metal...

I'm not a "metal" guy, but I do like some of the musical exploration done by some metal bands. The Dillinger Escape Plan Wintersun Mehuggah Ion Dissonance D.R.I. I would also recommend the PROBOT album if you might like a dose of Dave Grohl with your metal. And...it wouldn't be right if I...

Do you remember the time before Hyrule Historia?

Yeah, you got a point there. The only reason why I wonder is....30th anniversary is coming. You KNOW Nintendo will have to capitalize on it somehow. Though, I will admit< they do seem to make some nonsensical and ridiculous business decisions (Like how they handled all of the MM release stuff).

    Who is your favorite Link?

I think I might be remembering the artwork from my faded Nintendo Power magazines from the late 80s. Let's settle on Auburn ;)

Do you remember the time before Hyrule Historia?

It will be interesting to see how the new title falls in the timeline...I wonder if there will be another expansive piece of literature similar to HH next year.

    Favorite/Least Favorite Zelda Games

I'd have to say that the original The Legend of Zelda is my favorite, followed by A Link to the Past and then Ocarina of Time. I also love Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, and Majoras Mask. Not a huge fan of the cat eye/cartoonish games but it's hard to NOT like Wind Waker, it's a beautiful...

Zelda Art Guitar Arrangements of Zelda Songs

These are very nice arrangements. Love classical guitar! I'm a huge Koji Kondo fan, his music was one of the first things that made me love Nintendo going back to the 1980s. Do you guys figure these out by ear, or do you access the written music from somewhere? I've managed to pick through...

What Are Some Good Punk Rock Bands?

I really don't see a "debate" anywhere. but... I see what you did there... I'm no stranger to being called a pretentious hipster. Apparently, having well thought out and informed opinions really seems to rub some people the wrong way. besides all that, I'll have you know that I find...

What Are Some Good Punk Rock Bands?

Well then you are in luck because most of the bands I listed ride the line between punk and alternative. Really, a band like Fugazi or Joy Division do not fall under any category...hence the term "alternative" (some people like the term "post- insert term here"). These artists may have some...

What Are Some Good Punk Rock Bands?

The problem is that most do not understand the evolution of "punk", it means a lot of different things to different people. It can be political. It can be independence from corporations. It can be anti-establishment/government. It can be about DIY(doing it for yourself). It can be about...

MM-3DS Will the hype die down after people play this remake?

I'm so over this, again! I was already over it...bumming about and depression for a month that I was not able to secure any LE MM items or the MM edition new 3DS. I was already over it until a guy at work somehow got online and ordered both LE MM AND MM edition new 3ds together last Friday...

    Who is your favorite Link?

Dark Link, I like when Link is an adult as it feels more like me...being an adult. I do like some of the art work from the NES era when Link was red haired and before he got all "Anime" looking....but that might partly be nostalgia. Link is my favorite hero, mostly because I can relate with...

Wow, Shonen Knife....that takes me back. I like a lot of the Ramones simpler stuff like Commando and Pinhead. You might like a few of those bands I listed. I would try out The Descendents, I particularly like their Milo Goes to College album... . When a lot of people think "punk rock", they...

What Are Some Good Punk Rock Bands?

I guess it depends on your definition of "punk", or "good" for that matter. A lot of the bands that I like are usually labeled "post-punk". Without getting into some long-winded rant of how annoyed I am with genre labels and how it's gotten out of control over the last 20 years I will just...

    Your Opinion On Amiibos

I think they are cool, and yet another way Nintendo chose to think outside the box. Plus my Link and Zelda Amiibos look great on a shelf in my Zelda collection. I don't play Super Smash Bros. or Mario Kart that much, but I still like the Zelda Amiibos...and tey are only 12 bucks at gamestop.

YES! I find differing perspectives very interesting. Game Nostalgia: The unfair advantage

What's to argue? All statements claiming anything to be "best" are nonsensical in matters of opinion regarding observations from subjectivity. The adventure of link makes me feel nostalgic for 1987. Ocarina of time makes me nostalgic for 1997. Twilight Princess makes me nostalgic for 2007...
