pushing the directional in the direction you want to swing doesn't require stopping or using R or XR, as it's just changing direction. You just push slowly in the direction you want to move the swinging action, and it will move.
I think on the Gamecube version, you had to stop first, to...
Just a note on the Controls for the mirror shield (and boat cannon) -
you can change the direction they move on an Option screen from the Gamepad. Mine were moving down when I pushed up, and VV, which was very confusing. I changed the option for this under the Option menu, and then they...
a nice change on the Tree Watering mission for the Koroks - on the Gamepad, the trees are all shown on the sea map, once you fill up a bottle of Haven water. So you don't need to make a list or particular plan of which islands to find. (The swift sail makes this mission very easy - only takes...

The ergonomics of holding and playing this heavy controller is giving me a sprained thumb joint - like it's seriously in pain. I thought I had injured my hand while moving boxes in the garage. Later, I picked up the gamepad to play and discovered...
Not sure if this is a change or not, but I noticed that many guides say you can get Laruto or Fado pics from Lenzo, to add their figurines to the Gallery. And the pictures that Lenzo sells do show these two characters.
I bought these two photos rather late in the game (HD version), and when...
not sure if this would be an Easter egg, but I came across something other than a treasure chest while searching in the sea for one: a rusty cauldron came up for a second or two, and then dropped back into the ocean.
It was at the spot (just about) that a light was shining on the ocean (from a...
