OK, so, sometimes I call my character Link, but sometimes I give him my name. It backfired on me once, when a character in MM started jumping up and down yelling 'Mr. Katie! Mr. Katie!'. Probably be calling my character Link from now on.

I think Stone Tower Temple was for me. Or, if we count not real things, probably BEN. I was watching the BEN story late at night, and about had nightmares because of the song. But otherwise, Stone Tower Temple. I've heard various theories on that place that scared the heck out of me.

Well, my first playthrough took me weeks...and that was with a walkthrough. Granted, I had a summer essay I had to work on, and I had to borrow the game from my brother (it was his, so I did have to share). So, that's part of why it took me so long.

but you get the Spiritual Stones as a reward for the child temples...so why would they also reward you with the Light Medallion for that?

I'll be honest--that does sound like overkill to me. You gotta understand, though, that it is the 25th anniversary. However, I just recently began really playing Zelda, so I can't honestly say I'm sick of it yet.

I gotta pick Ura Zelda. I mean, OoT is amazing, and that would've made it even more amazing.

I've played it through once (I never played the game before it came out on 3DS), and I'm playing it through a second time because my brother wanted me to beat his file. I'm up to the Ice Cavern on that one. I guess i can't say I'm doing it alone, cuz I'm using a walkthrough AND my brother's...

I liked Ganon's Castle, because it had a little bit of everything else, though the fire part was a bit infuriating. But otherwise, I quite liked it.

I personally think the Gorons are adorable. They're probably my favorite NPCs in this game. What do you guys think? What's your favorite NPC(s)? anyone specific? anything general, like Gorons, or Zoras, or whatever?

I enjoyed the part with Twinrova fighting after you defeat them. Their bickering amused me.

I had so many problems with the Deku Tree, practically half the time I spent on the game was spent in there. And I'm more than twice the age you were when you had problems. So don't feel too bad.

OK, I beat it today, so it took me, from the Deku Tree to Ganon, a little over two weeks. Is that, like, really slow?

So, I'm curious to see how long it took people to beat Ocarina of Time. I still haven't beaten it, but I beat the bulk of it (all the way from the beginning to the final boss battle) in around two weeks. How about you guys?

OK, sorry if this thread has been posted before, but I wanna know what everyone's favorite gadget from Ocarina of Time is. Personally, I think the one I probably use the most is the Longshot, but I don't really have a favorite. Opinions?

It was pretty easy. Of course, I used a walkthrough. Probably the hardest part for me was either A. Raising the waters the final time or B. Dying, then getting lost trying to get back on track.

I have a question about this trading quest: Is it possible to do it without Epona? Because I can't win her for the life of me, and I really want the Biggoron sword.

OK, there's one thing I don't understand. If the only reason they survived was because of the Deku Tree, why didn't they die out in the 7 years they had without a Deku Tree, or a sprout?

I've been caught by a Wallmaster twice. After the second time was when I figured out how to watch it's shadow on the ceiling and keep moving until it's shadow stopped following me. It was kinda frustrating being caught, since you had to go all the way back to the beginning of the temple.

I hated Bongo Bongo. It was so tough. You had to stun both hands, and then charge a spin attack at just the right moment...it was so annoying. I died so many times...

I know the only time I really wanted to swear was in the Shadow Temple, and the boss door was a long way off from the entrance. I couldn't beat Bongo Bongo for the life of me, and I'd forgotten about the shortcut through the scythe room. It was very tempting to begin swearing at that point. And...

There are a lot of 'Great Fairies' in Ocarina of Time. 5, I believe. One gives you a spin attack, one gives you Din's Fire, one gives you Farore's Wind, one gives you double magic, and another gives you higher defense. All five are Great Fairies.
