given the influx of younger members to this forum, is there room to look at restructuring the account creation process to help make it clear that users under 13 need direct parental supervision on the internet, or something of the sort?
post count matters a ton in one vs almost irrelevant in the other, preferring quality to quantity. The post count from blog posts would also be negligible compared to mafia
I'm not saying don't do blogs, I'm saying it's downright unfair if anything starts counting for posts before mafia
Extend the length of time that conversations appear as recent, they only last like 3 or 4 days, I think they should last more like 10 days before fading
I don't know how possible it is, but I'd like an option under the new posts page that shows new blog posts, as I enjoy reading certain blogs but tend to miss out due to them not showing up as posts
I don't think it would get enough traffic for that to really be a problem tbh
the trolling seems likely to me, or even people using the anonymity to harm other users
Those things can obviously be easily conveyed without swearing as I can prove in any given game of mafia, so it's not at all important
There's also a huge difference between seeing a swear and knowing what words got censored. It's not anyone being offended, it's me wanting to filter my...
Why do people need to swear in the first place
If xenforo cant give users the option to enable/disable censors it's much better to err on the safe side imo
If anything the censor could be expanded to include words that aren't necessarily swears but are still vulgar, thatd be nice
yes, I shouldn't be restricted from posting when the outcome of a mafia game could depend on it
it can also end up being a snowball effect where one person posting and being delayed causes more people waiting on them to delay and so on
Bell tree forums has a feature that automatically edits double posts into a single quotable post and as I believe they also use xenforo it should be implement-able? Would be pretty helpful
