Mainly because you're the only one actively communicating with me/treating me fairly via conversations unlike most everyone else here. I swear it's like I'm the Devil of the Shield while the rest are part of the Church of Three Heroes.
And that makes me angry.
Part of the whole joint victory everyone seems to want entails Rag becoming a superhero with ties to the mafia. I can facilitate it at great cost (something I tried to do one night while also trying to have Rag night kill only for it to block the action entirely and set me back financially)...
Her boss fulfilled his agreement with Human Torch. Since then, it's become apparent that Fred, at the very least, doesn't seem keen on funding the necessary expense to facilitate what you lot seem to desire.
I have no further obligation here.
Indeed, but I don't see you doing as Human Torch did and advising Spider-Man either.
Inaction is just as much an action one can (not) take as anything else.
I suppose I should add that since the decision for this occurs before end of night, I'll have an opportunity to react.
Let me be clear:
Should the aliens succeed, then that will set the rich back for sure as well as myself personally. While Human Torch is an admirable human being, I am not...
I can't speak for the others, but I tend to be a busy man.
That said, they are correct. Aliens have arrived and are threatening to kill everyone in the Century Club, unless we meet their demands.
The demands are to forfeit all the money we have.
If, however, you intervene it'll prevent any of...
Look at you, trying to talk down someone from starting a fight. That's a long way from starting a fight with me. =P
I like you. Tonight, and tonight only, I'll honor a cease-fire. After that, all I see is dead people.
*Pensive pose.*
Considering that more is needed to even start a joint victory and there is skepticism there, I'm much more inclined for blood than not.
Seems you got your job cut out for you, Human Torch.
I'm willing to do whatever needs to be done in the end. I'm not the one that needs to be convinced though. It's the bullheaded town that needs to be.
If it's a joint victory, then I see no reason to have Rubik jailed; however, parity would still have to be achieved so that'd be on them to decide who would have to go.
Ultimately though, I would like you to wire me some money with your name. That way you're not targeted when we start pulling...
I think all of the town has been unreasonable towards me, and I'm not obligated towards any expectations they may hold just because.
Human Torch is probably closest to being right about a long, drawn-out process as I see no reconciliation.
Because of your visceral reaction to me and subsequent line of play (though I do believe you when you say you truly believe you're pursuing a victory despite nothing affirming that).
If you want me to play ball, then here you go.
Yes, there can be a joint victory. No, I don't see it happening (mainly because of Rag). For such a victory to even happen, I'd need Rag to become a superhero and 5 mil to jump start it.
Do I see that happening? No, though not so much on the money...
@ Rubik:
Telling me that you would willingly sit down with me after having tried to get rid of me is disingenuous at best. I wash my hands of what happens to the town going forward. Clearly, people are only concerned about themselves first and foremost. Others, second.
Now, correct me if I'm...
Voting Abi is just the end result in what has led up to this.
Town have been coming after me because of preconceived notions. Rubik's words more than affirm that since "[you] were always going to choose evil," or some such malarky. Town coming after me, again, is just another link in a chain...
@ Rubik:
You realize you've achieved a self-fulfilled prophecy?
You did more than that. You actively tried to jail me and take me out. Do not pretend that you didn't already harbor PoVs cemented in the "KoD is evil" vein despite knowing that I wasn't at the time by way of your own abilities...
