My brother was playing last night and got the Eldin tower just so he could shield surf down the mountain from it and I wanted to try, so I switched to my profile and did some shield surfing, Guardian hunting and in general flexing on him.

Yeah what I did was I jumped off the cliff, opened my paraglider, and lined up my stab from there. I was actually so close to the ground when I stabbed that I thought I'd missed it but nope!

Just spent well over an hour trying to figure out the ceremonial trident shrine quest. Very frustrating.

I finished Van Naboris and now I'm commited to finding the last 48 shrines.

So update: I didn't find that Lynel, I did find Grayson the Goron. Raid on the castle went rather well, I'm stocking up on food before grabbing some memories and then heading south, for real this time.

Wrapping up the Goron sidequests. There's a Lynel behind Death Mountain I wanna take a crack at, then I'm gonna restock weapons at the castle and go south.

I got the MS and the shrine in the dark ruins just north of it, then I spent a while just living a peaceful life, got my Stasis rune upgraded, maxed out my house, worked on my Compendium, sold some stuff, did some cooking. Pretty relaxing on a rainy day.

The statue in Hateno? Yeah, should probably just drop the rupees on him tbh.

Exploring Ganon's Castle. I was going north to find the forest but I got distracted in castle town and one thing led to another.

Apparently I just finished Van Medoh tonight. Just kinda on a whim.

I fully intended to go to the Rito village to start on that divine beast quest, but I kept noticing things and ended up not going there. I did see a dragon tho.

Aimlessly exploring, kinda sorta memory hunting, mainly restocking myself because Van Ruta left me short on my gear.

Going down the very long road to Zora's Domain.

Becoming completely enthralled with this game, despite not even leaving the Great Plateau. Currently trying to find where the old man wants me to meet after completing the 3 shrines.
