The sequel to Myst, was a game that I originally played in 1997 on the PlayStation. It has since received a complete remake. It's currently only available on PC, but it's expected to be ported over to consoles this year. After nearly 30 years, I'm looking forward to jumping back in. :D

It'll be interesting to see if Nintendo patches older games to look and run better.

It depends largely on their goals with the game. If they want to take full advantage of the new hardware, it has to Switch 2 exclusive. But if they want to take advantage of that built in install base of Switch, it makes sense to release a version for that console as well. Doing so however...
