Botw was not all that fun of a game to watch and botw2 will probably be the same way

Ah, but when it's your wife playing, it's fantastically enjoyable to watch. I am totally sold on the idea that TotK will release with a special edition Zelda OLED console so getting another Switch may be a good answer.

If you do opt to get her her own Switch, you could have her play docked on the big screen while you simultaneously play handheld so you can watch her play while you play your game too. Although I get kind of wanting the big screen for yourself since it's a console Zelda game.
