I know this is a semi-sacrilegious take, since the game is a spin-off, not even developed by Nintendo, but I might like it more than Breath of the Wild? AoC is much more focused on story and character development, which I appreciated. BotW is all about gameplay.

I just got to Tarrey Town in my vegan Master mode run. I have tons of wood, but haven't been to Zora's Domain or Goron City yet, so I can't complete the quest.
For some reason, I almost always cash in for heart pieces and stamina at Kakariko Village. Obviously, Link's house is in Hateno Village, so I go there a fair amount. But once I have Tarrey Town set up, that's probably where I spend the most time. I love the music. The business options seem...

Yeah, the Rito armor is an edge case. I decided not to use it since they never actually specify it's made with Rito feathers and they appear to eat other birds. Also, the additional challenge makes things more interesting.
As for other stuff, that the developers might have intended to be made...
I'm in my third playthrough, doing a Master Mode/vegan run. I'm headed to Gerudo Town to get the Ruby Circlet, which, paired with the Warm Doublet, means I don't have to use the Rito Armor, which has feathers.
So a couple of different things inspired this thread.

One thing that inspired this thread was a question someone had about redeads. Are they zombified villagers or a purely magic creation? Apparently one of the Smash Brothers games said the latter.
