I play piano, guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin and brass. Bass is my main thing at the moment. I can usually get a tune out of any instrument in a short amount of time - music is just completely natural to me. I’m very lucky!

Solomon’s Key 2 (aka Fire and Ice) for NES. Top quality and addictive little puzzler, quite tricky in parts but VERY good fun, simple and well made. Well worth finding a ROM if you have an emulator set up. 9.5/10

Ballad of the Wind Fish was the first one to really stick with me. That game blew me away at the time! I’ve got a soft spot for the Palace Theme from Adventure of Link too... I’ve heard that one more than a couple of times!

Oh, another thing I accidentally did (aged 9 or so) was start the second quest immediately by entering Zelda as my character’s name. I spent a while wondering why the directions in the instruction booklet were wrong!
