I say don't use it. In my book a three heart run is using no unnessacey items and of course having only three hearts. It's completely up to you though.

First of all this belongs in the Zelda game help section, but anyway did you find the maiden? she's somewhere locked in a cell in the dungeon, you have to talk top her so she'll follow you and then bring her into the light of that room. Hope this helps.:)

I for one hate Deku Nuts. I never use them because they're so hard to get, kind of like bombchus. I never really think it's neccasary to take up one of my three spots to equip items on something that'll get wasted so fast.
