  • Sup ENA-three, Random Person here. Saw your post on the art contest thread and my apologies for not replying sooner. I have responded to your question there so when you get a chance, feel free to go and check.
lol same here. I really love both series because they both offer two different things. And they do it really well. But if I had to choose I would pick 2k3. I'm a sucker for action and story. But the 80's series is very entertaining and can make me laugh my a** off. lol Next Mutation. I never watched it to be honest. I knew of it's existence when I was younger but I thought it was the 4th film. lol. I was so young, couldn't keep track of time or tv. I do want to watch the whole series one day because I'm such a huge fan of the TMNT. But man, it will be a pain.

I'm also looking for someone to make me a sig of something TMNT related. Oh and you should join my TMNT group. Maybe we can stir some discussion.
Hey man have you seen this?

It's very long but it's a good watch. It's a very well done dissection and comparison of the 1987 TMNT and the 2k3 TMNT. I agree with most of his views for the most part but at the same time I feel he could of been a bit biased on some areas. But overall it's a good watch.
No I never knew that. Thanks for the info. It's certainly interesting. Yeah, I can totally see what you're getting at.

Hey is it just me or in the first TMNT film when Splinter was explaining to Danny the story of Hamato Yoshi and Oroku Saki did they mess up? He's talking about how he mimicked his master's moves and you see the guy training. And when he mentions his rival "Oroku Saki" it looks like the same guy but wearing a top now turning around. Then you see a different guy playing Hamato Yoshi the rest of the time. What's up with that?
lol totally. I always did enjoy the episodes in both the 87 and 2k3 when they were youngsters. No never seen the movie. But I did see it was available on Netflix.
I'm expecting something really big. Like actual ninjas, better props, awesome action, good story, sweet style/design, etc. And yeah, I never thought of Leatherhead being in a movie. That would be awesome. He'll probably be CGI like the way Hulk was.
Lol! "It's like having 5 Mikeys" "NUGGIE!" That movie was pure gold.

Oh yeah, it's gonna be live action again. Just hope they don't ruin the TMNT in this movie. I want them to look exactly what they're supposed to look like. No added accessories like tape or different weapons. That new Nick cartoon already looks disappointing. It's funny though, this movie was like first talked about in 2008 or 2009 and it was supposed to come out in 2012 but then it got delayed and now it's supposed to come out in 2013. So much waiting.
Lol! I had a feeling you were gonna pick the comics for obvious reasons or the cartoon that put the Turtles on the map. Well Mine would have to be TMNT 2k3. I grew up on the original trilogy and with little tid bits of the 87 series. But 2K3 was my childhood. It was dark, action packed, had some great characters, a bit educational on the comics, and it had some good humor at times. Well at least the first 5 seasons. Fast Forward was decent and still watchable even though it was more light hearted, Back to the Sewers was eh but I was able to watch it as well. I never really read any of the comics but I do have some knowledge of them.

Yeah I have. It was overall a good movie. It was enjoyable and that's what matters even though the designs and Splinter's voice kinda put me off. Hey did you see TMNT Turtles Forever? That has got to be one of my favorite movies ever. The top 3 TMNT incarnations all in one film. Epic.
