Yeah 7 and 8 just never felt right to me. In 7 Mega Man's sprite was just way too big and slow and 8 had the problem of having too "animated" a sprite so his actions just felt laggy.
Also 8's voices were horrid. Some of the worst ever.
Graphics are an important aspect of a game for sure but degrade in importance as you go. So if a game is going to keep your interest years after it better have hooks whether they be gameplay, story or whatever that can make it still capable of being played years after it's release.
Nothing really at the moment. I'd just finished up a playthrough of Silent Hill after I got it on the PSN, played through Batman: Arkham Asylum earlier in the month and just finished Paper Mario 2 recently. But since Silent Hill I really haven't played anything in any major quantities. Mostly...
I dunno if there is a timeline but I think he is referencing that the F.L.U.D.D and Luigi's vacuum in Luigi's Mansion (along with Bowser Jr's paintbrush) were created by Professor E. Gadd.

I always really enjoyed playing Asteroid, Missile Command and Donkey Kong. Lots of those classic arcade games are always worth a quarter or two. Or three.
What I really miss is pinball. I haven't played a game of pinball for a long time now.
You know I'm not sure if saving the game then coming back later starts you off at the very beginning. Usually by time I reach there i just want to get it over with so I know that when you continue it does.
Otherwise I would eventually have cracked. I hate getting to the Great Palace. Hate it...
Did he say he hated because the AVGN hated it? He said his opinions on the game mirrored those of the nerd, not that they were because of him. Same with Deadly Towers. Of course he bought it afterwords probably to see how bad it was and saw that the Nerd was correct. In fact it is a pretty awful...
Metal Gear Solid 4 after beating it has brought me the enjoyable use of using various emotion shots on my enemies. Really amusing stuff.
Also if it that kind of game I like exploring and finding items and other stuff. Probably the number one reason why I can't do 3 heart minimum runs in Zelda...
