Yeah, I don't think this is his best album either, but I do think Thunderstruck is another amazing song. Thunderstruck is probably my favorite of the new album actually, and Bird With A Broken Wing is my second fave. I Found Love is my least favorite.

Heyo! I listened to the music you posted in the instrument thread. If you like MMOs, Perfect World used a lot of music involving an Erhu, so the soundtrack, if not the game itself, might be up your alley. =3

listening to hardcore history (the first WWI episode). it's ok. he digs deeper than the average class or textbook gets to. good for someone who doesn't have a ton of background in any of this. he does a good job of humanizing history and accounting for pan-historical themes like agency and contextual and contemporary perspectives via primary sources of people who lived in the time and place. I hear a lot of of influence from Christopher Clark's Sleepwalkers and other current WWI historiography, which is good. for me it's a lot of review but it's probably new information for 95% of the population. I haven't heard enough to know if I can endorse his ideas, but the methodology appears to be sound.

Regardless of our opposing opinion, I hope we can stay civil. I've always liked you and hope we can keep our disagreements in the threads, and our friendship alive.
