It's been a while. I think it's time for an update: I've been ridiculously busy lately, so I haven't been able to finish yet, but this is what I have so far.

Clearly this is incomplete, but I thought I might as well show this one. This is a family portrait, the picture it being based upon taken in 1968. I'm being paid to do this by the sister on the far left (obviously much older now). 20.5" x 16".

I put it on the first post. But I suppose I should put it here too. Here you go: The reason I don't do color often is because I'm colorblind. It's not awful, but it screws me up often.

New artwork. Daniel Craig as James Bond. This is the only colored work on here. It is not yet completed, however.

Yeah, I continue to try to perfect my anatomical design. It's pretty difficult to get a hang of; it's complexity is quite interesting, but I have a long ways to go, which is obvious. No, I don't really know who Andrew Loomis is. I'd like to say four or five hours, but I can't say for sure.

Well the palm of the human hand is "square-like", but I assume you're talking about the fingers since the palm area is covered by the sleeve. They're "squarish" because of the angles of the individual fingers. If all the fingers were parallel, then you'd be correct; the first joint up varies...

Yeah, I can definately see what you mean with shading. I tend to emphasize unneccessary parts where I shade just to kind of show that...they're there. I don't know, but I'll try to be more aware of it. I'm not so clear on what you mean on the limbs. Where specifically are you talking about...
