Whether or not you are a fan of the direction Breath of the Wild took the Zelda series, most players agree that the game has a beautiful looking world to explore. Link can have countless little adventures as he delves into every nook and cranny of the game map. The search for Shrines and Koroks can take the player through so many picturesque locations. There is, of course, a melancholy aspect to the land. The vast and ruined Hyrule is slowly being reclaimed by nature, leaving only the skeletal remains of what was once a prosperous kingdom.

Similarly to another project that we covered this month, Twitter user LabNassim has created a new way for players to immerse themselves in the beautiful landscapes of Hyrule. If you want to explore Breath of the Wild‘s Hyrule, but don’t have handy access to a Switch or Wii U, you can try their Zelda-version of Google Map’s Street View. Visitors to the site can drop into several of the game’s major locations and view them in the form of a 360 degree photograph. These “drop points” are created by splicing photographs together from every possible angle to create a sort of texture bubble that visitors can view.

More information is available on LabNassim’s recent announcement post:

You can check out Breath of the Wild Street View right here.

Right now, the map has only 26 locations available to be viewed. LabNassim has put out a call for fan contributions of screenshots to create more drop points on the map. Those interested in submitting photographs can do so on this form.

Will you drop in on Hyrule or contribute to the project? Do you find this idea novel or unique? Let us know in the comments.
