Featured Fanart: The Obsidian Beast

This week our featured fanart is “The Obsidian Beast” by deviantART artist ProfessorPemzini.

I really have to hand it to this artist, Ganon never looked so primeval, and I mean that in the best of ways. What I really love about this particular portrayal of Ganon’s beast form is that it really brings out the BEAST along with the demon. You can see the fierceness in his eyes, the wild ferocity in his mane, and the insatiable hunger for power in his deformed body. He looks almost like an undead monster brought back to life fueled by revenge, which I think describes Ganondorf pretty well. Not to mention that lighting: gorgeous. What do you guys think?
