Even without the world in its current state, it’s hard not to let the stresses of day-to-day life get you down. There are plenty of methods to relax and calm your nerves, and a great one is music. In particular, a recent fan album named Chilltendo took already relaxing Nintendo songs and remixed them into a lo-fi hip hop style in order to chill frayed anxieties.

Chilltendo was created by artist Kai Jakobi and his brother Mikel, who also produced the album Zelda & Chill. The album features various songs from the Zelda series as well as franchises like Animal Crossing, Undertale, Super Mario Bros, Pokémon, and Chrono Trigger. From the Zelda series, the album provides remixes of “Fairy Fountain” from A Link to the Past, “Enter the Twilight Realm” from Twilight Princess, and “Forest Temple” from Ocarina of Time.

Chilltendo was posted on YouTube by the record label GameChops; the album is also available as a Spotify playlist and for download here.

What did you think of the album? What remix was your favorite? What un-included song do you think would fit well? Let us know in the comments below!
