Fan Video Considers What A Crossover Between Mario And Zelda Would Look Like

The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario are two of Nintendo’s greatest franchises, each having memorable adventures within their own worlds. But, what would happen if a crossover game between these two iconic series was made? What would a game that combines these two franchises look like? These are the questions that this video made by Youtube user Dr. Wily tries to answer.
Both franchises have at least one successful crossover. The Zelda franchise was combined with Dynasty Warriors to create Hyrule Warriors on several Nintendo platforms, while Ubisoft’s Rabbids invaded the Mushroom Kingdom and caused havoc in Mario+Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. On top of that, Mario and Zelda share some very well-known cameos, hinting at the fact they may in fact share the same world. So it’s only natural to think about a full-blown crossover between these two franchises. By inspecting similarities and differences between the two series, Dr. Wily tries to determine how the game would look, or even if it would be made at all.
