Fan Theory: Majora And The Fierce Deity Are Terminian Counterparts to Demise and Link

Majora’s Mask is one of the most popular games in the franchise without a doubt, but a darker aspect would be the origins of Majora’s Mask and the Fierce Diety Mask. For those of us who have played the game, we do know that within each mask a spirit has been sealed inside. YouTuber VortexxyGaming believes that Majora and the Fierce Deity were the Terminian counterparts to Demise and Link. Vortexxy also believes that Termina is one of Hylia’s creations and goes on to say that before Majora and the Fierce Deity destroyed each other, she sealed them both within a mask to seal away Majora’s evil and to preserve the power of the Fierce Deity.

However, she explains that in order for Hylia to do that, she would have given up her mortal form and only leave behind her divinity and immortality, which would eventually end up taking on the form of a spiritual being with no physical form, which we know as the Goddess of Time. She explains that this new Goddess of Time could only silently watch as all the events unfold, but is also able to appear in multiple timelines due to her ability to influence time.
