The beauty of The Legend of Zelda can be brought to life in several amazing ways. One such example is in the work of ThatNerdyWoodGuy, who has constructed several great Zelda wood art pieces over the last year. The artist recently shared a gallery of these pieces, showing off wood art inspired by Wind Waker and Majora’s Mask.

ThatNerdyWoodGuy has been crafting video game themed wood art for quite some time. His two Wind Waker pieces, one of the King of Red Lions and another of wind sage Makar, were constructed last year. The artist admitted that the King of Red Lions is “one of [his] favorite pieces;” it was made from Ambrosia Maple, Paduk, African Teak, Black Walnut, and Basswood. The Makar piece (my personal favorite) is absolutely adorable; it was made from Ambrosia Maple, Cypress, and Bog Oak which the artist explains “is naturally stained black from hanging out at the bottom of a swamp.”

In addition to these pieces, ThatNerdyWoodGuy also showcased a colorful Majora’s Mask piece and a set of goddess crest pieces. You can see all the Zelda wood art on ThatNerdyWoodGuy’s Imgur page, as well as the artist’s other amazing gaming pieces. You can also visit his Etsy shop SuperCraftBros to purchase these pieces and works like them.

What do you think of this wood art? How much do you wish you had a wood Makar to put on your shelf? Let us know in the comments!
