Fan-Made Skull Kid Marionette

This Majora’s Mask Marionette depicting the Skull Kid, Tatl and Tael from the game was made by deviantART user Emma-Is-A-Leaf, after her brother asked for her to make it. What sets this apart from other puppets is that it’s ceramic and made of clay rather than stitched together. Read more about the puppet and the author after the jump.

Emma-Is-A-Leaf has created some other Zelda-themed crafts, such as a clay sculpture of Fi and a wearable Goron’s Bracelet. This piece is unique to her as being her first puppet. Some of the light that you see on the puppet isn’t natural: she added lighter colors where the faries’ glow would have hit him. Attention to detail at some of its finest.

Unfortunately, this magnificent piece of art is not for sale (nor will it ever be), as it was made specially for her brother. You can check out more of Emma-Is-A-Leaf’s work at her deviantART page.

I wish I could get one of these. It would hang out of my general line of sight, though. Marionettes freak me out a little bit. Do you want one? Or do marionettes kinda freak you out too? Let us know in the comments below!
