Fan Fiction Friday: “Kasuto’s Redemption”

Welcome back to Fan Fiction Friday…on Saturday. I promise I don’t do this on purpose; I really try to get these out on Fridays. Last week, we were introduced to K’ger’s story, “Silence is Golden”: the exciting adventure of Link, the thief who became a hero. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, I strongly suggest it. This week, Vopi has asked us to share their story, “Kasuto’s Redemption”.

What begins as a simple trip to Castle Town spirals into a fight for the world’s survival. In the process, battles are raged, relationships are formed, sacrifices are made, lives are changed, and the secrets of the past surface to the present. –

I’ll be honest, I haven’t had a chance to really start this one yet, but the concept has gotten me intrigued. The first chapter is a recollection of a past event, taking place seventy-five years before the events of

Ocarina of Time. The Hero of Time has come and gone and Link has saved Hyrule from the evil Ganondorf once more in Twilight Princess. Seven years later, our story unfolds. It looks to be an exciting experience that brings Link and Midna together again. Probably in ways that would be considered “fan service”.
