Fan Animation Gives a Glimpse into Breath of the Wild 2

It’s hard to believe that almost a year has passed since Nintendo ended their E3 presentation by announcing a sequel to Breath of the Wild. Since that time, fans have been eagerly anticipating the journey to come for Link and Zelda. To curb their impatience, the trailer has been picked apart and theorized upon greatly over the past eleven months.
Although we are still in wait for another official look at the game, this fan animation by RwanLink actualizes what we’ve come to imagine about the upcoming title. Entitled “A New Cycle”, the animation is accompanied by the voice acting talent of Zelda P, echoing the assumption that Breath of the Wild 2 will have voice acting like its predecessor. The video also incorporates commonly-held theories such as the revival of Ganondorf, the inclusion of the Zonai, and the involvement of Princess Zelda as a companion. All in all, the animation is a testament to the the anticipation within the fandom and their prodigious amount of creativity over the past year.
Seeing what this game could look like, especially with such a darker tone, has me even more excited for news about Breath of the Wild 2. What did you think of the animation?
