Fall Under the Spell of this Synth Cover of “Dark World Theme” from A Link to the Past

It’s one of the most iconic songs from the early years of The Legend of Zelda franchise. Players gather the three pendants, draw the Master Sword, and face down Agahnim only to find that the adventure is just getting started. Link finds himself atop the golden Pyramid of Power, and that’s when the player hears it–the iconic song “Dark World Theme”. The feeling of seeing the overworld transform is matched by the legendary theme music of the corrupted landscape; it’s a moment that makes The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past one of the best in the franchise.
