Hello, friends! Let’s get started with another Zelda Informer Photoshop Contest. The end of the year is just around the corner. The seasons are changing, it’s getting colder outside, and the winter holidays are almost upon us. Some places around the world are even expecting snow soon. We’ve seen such chilly conditions in parts of Hyrule throughout the years. But have you ever imagined what the warmer parts of Zelda‘s world would look like after a fresh snowfall. Let’s indulge that fantasy this week, as well as check out the winners of last week’s contest: Lettin’ the Dogs Out.

This Week’s Contest: Unexpected Snowstorm in Hyrule

Some of my favorite areas in the Zelda series are caked in snow. The Ice Cavern in Ocarina of Time, Snowhead in Majora’s Mask, and Snowpeak in Twilight Princess all add an interesting flair to the Zelda worlds we love so much. In my opinion, we need more snowy places in Hyrule, maybe even in some familiar places.

The contest this week is to add snow to a Zelda area that doesn’t normally have it. For example, you can show Hyrule Castle, Death Mountain, or even Gerudo Valley after an unexpected snowstorm. Obviously, you can take inspiration from the already snowy parts of Hyrule, but the idea is to put snow in a place it doesn’t belong. We’ve got some images in the gallery below for you, but feel free to use anything you find in the internet as well.
