Everyone is Here in this Amazing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Commercial

“More Fighters, More Battles, More Fun” is the tagline for this exhilarating Super Smash Bros. Ultimate CG trailer, and the video lives up to that slogan. In exactly one minute, this incredible trailer showcases over fifty of the game’s fighters, highlighting many of their banner art poses, as well as showing them off in the heat of the action.
The trailer opens with a subtle callback to the trailer for the original Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Melee, where Mario transforms from a static object or image into full animation. From there, we see Mario fighting with Link, who looks stunning in his Breath of the Wild tunic. And then, madness ensues, with a variety of characters duking it out on screen.
In addition to showing off Champion Link, the trailer also gives a great look at Princess Zelda, who is seen showing off her best power pose with fellow princess, Peach. It’s amazing how the developers have melded the different designs for Zelda to create a stunning and distinct look for the character.
This trailer has so many incredible moments — look at that back-breaking punch from Donkey Kong! It all ends with a callback to the original reveal for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate from earlier this year: the fiery Smash logo is seen reflected in the eye of Inkling, who is ready to join the battle!
