The twentieth anniversary of Majora’s Mask has had the Zelda fandom eagerly celebrating Link’s adventure in Termina. With an assortment of fan content gracing our screens all throughout the week — from fan art, to cosplay, to our very own Majora’s Mask Week — the birthday of the Nintendo 64 classic has not been missed.

In fact, our friends at Zelda Universe have posted their highly-anticipated English dub of Majora’s Mask as part of the anniversary celebrations. Announced over a year ago in the last part of their dub of Ocarina of Time, it is a collection of gameplay and cutscenes dubbed in English by various voice actors. The entire project is a culmination of the hard work of many fans, as it is also coupled by a remastered soundtrack, with brand new fan arrangements of songs originally composed by Koji Kondo and Toru Minegishi. Additionally, as in the Ocarina of Time dub, the Majora’s Mask dub features animation from MajorLink, who has been nothing short of prolific in past Zelda Universe dubs as well as in his own Zelda animations.

Because this is the first part of multiple, this video only shows the beginning of the game, with Link traumatically entering Termina and racing through the Clock Town to retrieve his Ocarina from the masked Skull Kid. The director of the project, Alexander Trevino, has posted on Twitter that he is “excited for the rest of the dub to come out in the following months.”

What do you think of the dub? Have you seen other Zelda Universe dubs in the past? Is there a scene in Majora’s Mask you are excited to see dubbed? Let us know in the comments below!
