Enjoy This Storybook Re-imagining of The Legend of Zelda Series

Video Game Story Time recently released a video that reimagines the story of the Zelda series. The video tells the classic tale with the use of a narrator and pictures that mimic the style of a child’s storybook.

The re-imagining shifts the story’s focus away from Link rescuing Princess Zelda to Princess Zelda saving her kingdom. The character of Zelda is wise and kind, while Link becomes a humble youth who aids the princess in her mission. As for Ganon, he is translated from a power hungry figure to a creature who simply wants to enjoy the light and sparkle of Hyrule.
