Quarantine may be preventing us from enjoying many fine arts, but that hasn’t stopped musician Curtis Thorpe from bringing some Zelda-based luxuries right to us. Thorpe does well to produce a luscious maze of arpeggios in this enchanting version of “Great Fairy’s Fountain”. Leading on the dulcimer and guitar, the musician is joined by violinist Ariana Nasr, who creates a lovely, spot-on cover of this iconic song, with a somewhat haunting twist.

Fans of The Legend of Zelda are no strangers to the dulcimer, and it’s no mystery why. The instrument gives a mystical, ethereal quality to music, which compliments the atmosphere of the series perfectly. Curtis Thorpe seems to be no stranger to the instrument either, as his lead in this video is perfectly executed and will pique anyone’s curiosity in the art of music.
